HISTORY
When Ernest Josef Pachta of Rájov, the owner of the Liblice district, decided to build his new manor house (1699 - 1706), he chose the Italian architect Giovanni Battista Alliprandi, who came from North Laine, who worked in Prague these days.

Alliprandi was trained in Francesco Martinelli's craft in Vienna. He is famous in the Czech Republic, next to the construction of Chateau Liblice, for a number of important buildings for noble families Černínů, Přehorovských or Špork.

A feast for the senses: Castle Liblice - Pearl of the High Baroque
In the baroque castle Liblice there is a luxury hotel with spa. The hotel restaurant offers a first-class menu that promises culinary highlights at its finest. How about the pate from pork, duck liver and cranberries with beetroot sauce as starter?

As a main dish, we recommend rabbit rump and leg confit with fresh leaf spinach, liver paste and sage sauce and as dessert chocolate pralines.

Accommodation in Chateau Liblice
There are many Schlosshotels in the Czech Republic, but only a few of them can offer such a unique atmosphere that combines history, comfort and modern architecture. At the castle of Liblice we prepare comfort and privacy, unforgettable romantic moments and unique experiences.
