A magnificent 16th century castle in a quiet meadow landscape, you will find us quite different. Family house of the Duke of Lauderdale, Thirlestane Castle is one of the oldest and most beautiful castles in Scotland.
There is still a family house of the Maitland family. During the summer months, Thirlestane is open for day trips and group trips.
