
Fort Alexander is a unique monument to the Russian fortification art. Its history began in 1845 during the reign of the emperor Nicolas I.

The Fort was erected for protection against the enemies from the Baltic Sea. Though, fort Alexander has never participated in any kind of hostilities and it has lost its military purposes.

So far Fort Alexander was disturbed. Its revival began in 2004 when it was transfer to the property of the “National Congress Palace”.Today Fort Alexander is given a new life as a museum and an entertaining complex. Now Prestigious dining events can be organised there.
