THE VILLA
Located inside a splendid park of 70,000 square meters, Villa Borromeo D'Adda is one of the most prestigious and significant noble residences. Splendid jewel of the late eighteenth century, today it is presented as one of the most famous and evocative location for events.
HISTORY
Around 1765, by the will of the D'Adda, the first nucleus of the current villa was built. The building, of which the northward facade is preserved, has been attributed (for the analogy of the poggiolo with that of the façade of the Milanese Palazzo Sormani) to Francesco Croce, authoritative exponent of the Late Lombard Baroque.
